The Sto. Padre Pio Contemplative Community of Cebu is an official branch of the International Prayer Community in Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza which was founded by Padre Pio himself.
Being spiritual sons and daughters of Saint Padre Pio, the members of the community imitate Padre Pio’s virtue of love for Jesus Crucified, for the Most Blessed Sacrament, for the Madonna, for the Pope and for the entire Church.
While the International Prayer Community follows its own charism and call, the local community takes direction from the Archdiocese of Cebu where it operates, guided by its appointed Spiritual Director, Msgr. Roger Fuentes.
The support arm of the community - the foundation aims to provide a place of prayer and refuge conducive to the veneration to the beloved Saint Padre Pio and to promote activities that serve ‘those in need of relief'.
We know how excited you are to visit us. Unfortunately, since we are still preparing the site, the site shall only be available when activities are scheduled or upon request of visit.
